How It Works

Two sites, one argument, and a set of local SEO pages built to compete with a real agency on its own terms.

The setup

A local agency published a page crowning its founder the sexiest man in McAllen. That page ranks, because nothing else is competing for the phrase. We built a better version of it, then built a second site that says the opposite, and let both of them compete.

Underneath the joke, this domain carries a set of local search pages for McAllen and the surrounding Rio Grande Valley cities — the same terms a working SEO agency sells. Those pages are built to the same standard as any serious local service page.

How the pages are built

Every page targets one clear intent and covers it properly: what the service is, how local search works in that city, what it costs, how long it takes, what goes wrong, and how to choose a provider. Nothing is thin, and no two city pages are the same page with the name swapped.

Structurally, each page uses a single H1, a logical H2/H3 hierarchy, a table of contents, comparison tables, a step-by-step process, and a substantial FAQ. Each carries a real generated image, a named byline, and publish and update dates.

What this proves

Vanity terms are easy and prove nothing. Commercial local terms are hard and prove everything. The pages here compete for the hard ones, on-page, with no shortcuts.

We are not claiming we will outrank a long-established agency for every McAllen term. What we are doing is showing exactly what a strong on-page local SEO page looks like, and letting it fight.

Frequently asked questions

Is this legal?

It is satire and parody with no false statements of fact about any person. This is not legal advice.

Are you affiliated with Giraldo Media?

No. This is an independent parody project and always has been.

Can anyone rank for a vanity phrase like this?

Yes, and that is the uncomfortable part of the entire demonstration.
